   unzip „archive-“ file and use a player such as VLC.

   but there´s no such archive file…just some files with avi.001 and avi.002 ect on the end…sorry if i´m too stupid..

   I find it impossible to download anything from rapidshare, megaupload, etc. Could someone make a torrent of these files, or upload them at mediafire? Thanx!

   Indeed, there is no zip-file.
   I could view the first part, with VLC. When opening the next I get error messages. In Media player classic it plays at an enormous speed, only audio, no video…
   Hm, I hope there’s a possibility to ‚fix‘ this…
   Thanks for this Walter Benjamin blog anyway.

   Please, use 7zip, extract the first file and it should turn out on big .avi file. It might not work with a different program. Sorry for the inconvenience.

   Hi all, the trouble with 7 ZIP was that all files had slightly different names before the numbers 001 002 etc. I renamed all files to Who_killed_Walter_Benjamin.avi.001 Who_killed_Walter_Benjamin.avi.002 Who_killed_Walter_Benjamin.avi.003 etc and voila 7ZIP produced one big film. Everything works fine now.

   P.S.: For playing the film I had to download an install the apropriate codec:

   thanx for the comment though there’s no need to rename the files if you use 7zip and playing them with VLC doesn‘t require downloading extra codecs.
